News from Seoul 2013

The Second World Congress in Extensive Reading successfully concluded on September 15 with over 600 participants, including some 140 from approximately 20 countries. There were some 150 presentations and workshops over the three days of the event.

The Congress was organized by the ERF in conjunction with The Korean English Extensive Reading Association (KEERA), co-hosted by The Korea Association of Foreign Language Education (KAFLE) and the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation KICE, with generous financial support from the National Research Foundation and the Korean Government.

The photograph, taken at the conclusion of the event shows the ERF board members, the plenary and featured speakers and the scholarship recipients (seated) along with some of the major committee members.
