Help us evaluate the Language Learner Literature finalists!

Every year, the Extensive Reading Foundation recognizes the best new works of language learner literature in English. This year, from graded readers published in 2016, the ERF judges have chosen three finalist titles in each of 6 categories: Very Young Learners, Young Learners, and 4 Adolescent & Adult categories-Beginner, Elementary, Intermediate, Upper Intermediate/Advanced.
The ERF panel of judges will later select one winner in each category, taking into account the votes and comments of students and teachers of English worldwide.
To encourage teachers and students to read and evaluate the books, the ERF, in cooperation with publishers, has a Finalist Evaluation Programme. In each category, two copies each of the three finalist titles are placed in the hands of 10 classes around the world. Successful applicants will receive the books during the month of April after the finalists have been announced at the IATEFL annual conference in Glasgow.

If you wish to participate in this year’s evaluation programme, please go to http://erfoundation.org/moodle31/course/view.php?id=6. You will need to create your own account.  Click on “Create new account” and then fill in the form using the “2017-evals” for the “enrolment key”. This will give you access to the information and a link where you can fill in your desired book levels, mailing address, etc.

Please do NOT forget your username and password!  You will need them in order to enter your feedback once you and your students have read and evaluated the books!
The preliminary deadline for applications is 15 March 2017.  You will be notified of your acceptance into the program by March 30.
Collegially,
Tom Robb, ERF LLL Award Evaluation Program Coordinator
